Sometimes, a photograph can articulate a clear, cogent message far better than, albeit well-intentioned, words. Precisely formed sentences, saturated with sincerity and meaning, are occasionally rendered mute by the emotional depth of a well-framed picture. It is the power of the visual. Words may be unintentionally forgotten, but the emotion that is elicited by a picture, now – that something that sticks with you.
